Nowadays, many people are interested in old motorbikes, either for daily use or just for collecting. Due to its old age, of course there are some parts that are worn out. Here are tips for caring for an old motorbike to keep it in top condition.

1. Washing the Motorbike 

Washing a motorbike is the most basic part of motorbike maintenance, of course for old motorbikes this is very important to prevent rust on the body or chassis of the motorbike. 

2. Check Parts

At an old age, of course many motorbike parts need to be rejuvenated to maintain the condition of the motorbike. Original old motorbike spare parts are usually very limited in availability, therefore you need to maximize existing parts or replace them with imitation parts if there is damage to the part. 

3. Checking Electrical

Electricity is a vital part of the motorbike, you need to check the cable that carries electricity from the spool coil to all parts of the motorbike that require electricity. If your motorbike's electrical cable is too badly damaged, it is better to replace it to get maximum performance. 

4. Restoration

Restoration is carried out if you want your motorbike to return to its original condition. It is highly recommended for restoration using original parts because it will increase the selling price if you want to sell it and maintain the historical value of the motorbike
